After Ocado – How to spot a winner (and avoid a dud)

Ocado, once synonymous with an efficient, middle-class grocery delivery service is now in danger of becoming the anti-poster boy of the new IPO era.

Having struggled to get the initial public offering off the ground – its flotation price was slashd at the eleventh hour, just to get the IPO away –  Ocado's life as a quoted company hasn't exactly covered it in glory either.

While questions about its reason for floating during such economic turbulence still dominate private investor forums, the City's support is now also on the wane.
