C&W: Third profits warning prompts anger over chief’s record pay

But investors are getting worried about what it is paying its executives to turn the firm around with the current Chairman John Pluthero having replaced Jim Marsh as chief executive as a result.

The firm demerged from Cable & Wireless Communications in 2010 but has lost around 44 per cent of its value since then. 

A combination of big pay awards for senior executives coupled with the poor share performance has prompted the Association of British Insurers to issue the company with an amber warning, as reported here on Sharecast.com.
