Dyson criticises China’s patent policy for allowing copycat manufacturing

Among other accusations, he suggests that the Chinese operate a two speed patent process where firms like his must wait as long as five years, while Chinese patents are fast-tracked. The five year wait means that Chinese firms can continue to infringe patents.

On Techradar , Dyson also says his company recently won a suit against a Chinese firm caught making a copy of Dyson's AirBlade hand-dryer, but that it made little difference.
